For too long, victims of childhood sexual violence have been silenced, stigmatized, and shamed, whilst perpetrators have been exempt from justice. We CAN change that. Advocacy efforts to end childhood sexual violence can be both incredibly difficult and deeply rewarding. It is rarely easy, and it can be re-traumatizing. Collective action and community care are indeed essential in addressing and ultimately ending childhood sexual violence.
